Young people in Powys will benefit from almost £1m of EU funding

Around 600 young people in Powys will benefit from almost £1m of EU funding.

The money will provide mentoring, coaching and training to young people facing challenges including low self-esteem, mental health problems and the effects of poverty.

It is part of the Cynnydd project and will be delivered by Careers Wales and Powys County Council’s youth service.
