Kirsty and James Gibson-Watt (leader of the Liberal Democrats on Powys County Council) attended a public meeting about the future of the health centre in the village.

The impact of its planned closure has been exacerbated by public transport problems.

Kirsty said:

“There is genuine anger and disappointment at the closure. However, all are determined to campaign for new health and well-being services to be delivered from the building, such as such as access to routine blood tests and blood pressure checks as well as Age Connect programmes and mental health groups."
