Welsh Liberal Democrat AM for Brecon and Radnorshire, Kirsty Williams, has congratulated three churches in the constituency on being awarded Heritage Lottery Fund grants.
St Stephen's Church in Old Radnor, and St Michael and All Angels and St Michael's, both near Presteigne, will all receive grant money.
Ms Williams said: "I am delighted to see that these historic buildings are to receive some help and recognition. The preservation of our heritage is vitally important for the education of future generations and for the development of our tourist industry, which is so important to the Welsh economy. As places of worship, these churches also provide a valued service to local people, and this award will assist them in the important work that they do in the community."
