Kirsty Williams re-selected

Welsh Liberal Democrat AM for Brecon and Radnorshire, Kirsty Williams, has been selected by local party members to be their candidate at the 2007 Assembly Election.

The decision was taken at a meeting on Saturday, when members confirmed that Kirsty was to be the candidate for the constituency once again.

Ms Williams said: "I am pleased and proud to be re-selected as the Welsh Liberal Democrat candidate for this constituency. It has been an honour to represent the people of this constituency from the very beginning of the National Assembly's foundation, and hope that, come polling day, they will elect me to do so once again."
