Kirsty Williams accepted an invitation to become an Honorary Member of the Crickhowell Rotary Club, an organisation supporting youth, community and international activities.

They meet every Thursday, and more information about them can be found here - https://www.rotary-ribi.org/clubs/homepage.php?ClubID=925

Kirsty commented:

“Over the years I have been very happy to assist Crickhowell Rotary Club with a number of events and activities they have arranged. These include judging their Youth Speaks competition and most recently their Young Interviewer competition.

“The Rotarians do so much great voluntary work in the community but their commitment to helping local children and young people to fulfil their potential is particularly impressive.

“It was an honour therefore to be invited to become an Honorary Member. Thank you to everyone for their warm welcome.”

Commenting on Facebook, Hywel Bevan of Crickhowell Rotary Club said:

“Thank you Kirsty for your kind comments. We were all delighted to welcome you as an Honorary Member and that you were able to attend our meeting yesterday evening.”
